The B160 Capital Summit

Capital that crosses borders

Money that moves between economies: who lends it, who takes it, and what the paperwork still costs.

Speakers

Our Superconnectors are busy identifying people the rest of us should learn from. If that is you, contact us. A name appears here once its owner has agreed to stand on the stage, and not before.

Every speaker is a member of the B160 and every session is chaired. We ask for the figures and the thing that went wrong, and we cut a session that turns into a pitch.

The questions

  • What an investor needs to see from a company two time zones away
  • The cost of currency and how members hedge it without a treasury
  • Development finance: who it reaches, and who it is meant to reach
  • Exits in markets with no obvious buyer

Who is in the room

Chief financial officers, investors, and founders raising across a border for the first time.

Before and after

Your Superconnector reads the attendee list against your goals and comes back with the three people worth finding, before the day rather than after it.

Everything said on the day that a speaker agrees to publish becomes a peer-contributed playbook. The rest stays in the room.

One person at a whiteboard explaining a diagram to five others around a table at night.

The useful part is usually the conversation after the session.
